Regarding Handling of Personal Information

This "Handling of Personal Information" shall establish basic guidelines regarding personal information that is acquired and used by Association of Tokyo Leather Fair (hereinafter referred to as "the Association").

When handling personal information (including information about individuals that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, or other descriptions included in the information), the Association will comply with the following guidelines: The Association has established a "Personal Information Protection Policy" and comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, other related laws and regulations, and the "Handling of Personal Information".

Personal Information Protection Policy

We will take measures to prevent the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, and in the event of an occurrence, we will take prompt corrective measures. We will comply with laws, national guidelines, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information.

  • ・Fulfillment of contract (provision of products and services, etc.
  • ・Information regarding products and services handled by the Association
  • ・Information regarding seminars, exhibitions, etc. held (sponsored, co-sponsored, or sponsored) by the Association
  • ・Response to inquiries or requests from business partners
  • ・Confirmation of individual business partner employees and temporary workers based on the performance of various contracts
  • ・Employee employment and personnel management
  • ・Other purposes for which the individual has been informed and consented in advance

If it becomes necessary to use personal information for purposes other than those listed above, we will obtain the consent of the individual for such use.

Regarding provision to third parties

The Association will not disclose or provide personal information to third parties, except when entrusting the handling of personal information to another party as described in [Purpose of Use] above.

Regarding disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, etc. of registered contents the Association will disclose personal information to the individual at the request of the individual as long as it does not interfere with the proper execution of business. In that case, we will confirm your identity using the prescribed method. If there is any discrepancy in the personal information disclosed to the individual, the Association will correct it. Additionally, if we receive a request from the individual to suspend the use of their personal information, we will immediately suspend its use.
